Last week I attended Hervé Léger's event celebrating International Women's day. Since I was a little girl at home we always celebrated this day. All women and girls get given flowers, presents and lots of attention as everyone celebrated and embraced womanhood. In the first years when I came to live in London it seemed that nobody had heard about this day. That's why it was such a great pleasure to be invited to this fabulous event and the day is more and more recognized across the world. I came across the Hervé Léger brand a few years ago, when I was on the hunt for an LBD. It was a pleasant surprise to find how much this brand has grown, with so many more colorful patterns, and different shapes. From beautiful A-line skirts to swimwear which embrace the shape of every women. At the day everyone could try on as many dresses as they wanted whilst sipping champagne and tasting Rococo chocolates. You would be proud of me as yours truly did a lot of both! We could also smell L'Artisan Parfumeur fragrances, which are created from blends of rare and quality rich raw materials. And I also enjoyed trying on the fabulous bespoke custom made Erickson Beamon jewelry. In many ways it was heaven - great people, bubbly to drink, dresses to try on and chocolate to eat. I left full, happy, a little tipsy and smelling of roses! How did you celebrate IWD?
